Η HMD Global στην εκδήλωση IFA παρουσίασε τέσσερις νέες συσκευές Nokia X30 5G, Nokia G60 και Nokia C31 smartphones καθώς και το Nokia T21 tablet. Η εταιρεία είπε ότι το X30 5G είναι κατασκευασμένο με 100% ανακυκλωμένο αλουμίνιο και 65% ανακυκλωμένο πλαστικό, καθιστώντας το το πιο φιλικό προς το περιβάλλον smartphone μέχρι στιγμής.
Χρησιμοποιεί επίσης 100% πιστοποίηση FSC και 94% ανακυκλωμένο χάρτινο κουτί σε μειωμένο μέγεθος συσκευασίας που εξοικονομεί εκπομπές CO2 κατά τη μεταφορά, που γίνονται εφικτές με την αφαίρεση του φορτιστή για την αντιμετώπιση των ηλεκτρονικών απορριμμάτων. Το Nokia G60 έχει 100% ανακυκλωμένο πλαστικό στο πίσω μέρος και 60% ανακυκλωμένο πλαστικό πλαίσιο.
Τα τηλέφωνα 5G συνοδεύονται από την υπόσχεση «3-3-3» – τρία χρόνια αναβαθμίσεις Android, τρία χρόνια μηνιαίες ενημερώσεις ασφαλείας και εκτεταμένη τριετή εγγύηση χωρίς επιπλέον κόστος. Το C31 θα λάβει εγγυημένα δύο χρόνια τακτικών ενημερώσεων ασφαλείας.
