Έχει την ίδια οθόνη αφής 14,4 ιντσών PixelSense με ρυθμό ανανέωσης 120 Hz και διαθέτει τον πιο πρόσφατο επεξεργαστή της σειράς Intel Core i7 H 13ης γενιάς και διαθέτει επιλογές NVIDIA RTX 2000 Ada Generation GPU ή NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 ή 4060 Lap.
Η εταιρεία λέει ότι αυτό είναι το πιο ισχυρό Surface που έχει κατασκευάσει ποτέ και είπε ότι θα προσφέρει 2 φορές καλύτερες επιδόσεις γραφικών από το MacBook Pro M2 Max.
Μετά από σχόλια από τους χρήστες του Surface Laptop Studio πρώτης γενιάς, η εταιρεία επανασχεδίασε το πλαίσιο του Laptop Studio 2 για να προσθέσει θύρα USB-A και υποδοχή κάρτας microSD.
